Small Business Saturday not enough; Summit tackles core issues

Pic_2_must_attendMarketing CEOs can do many things, but can they save the local economy? The New York Smart Marketer Summit on December 15th is aiming to improve the lives of local residents by ensuring small business growth.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), small businesses represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms and is a major contributor to the strength of local economies. The Summit’s organizers recognized a major problem restricting small business growth; the mismanagement and misunderstanding of Integrated Marketing.

The Smart Marketer Summit which is organized by The Mark Gold Group, will host approximately 200 Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs at the Wix Lounge in New York City’s Chelsea area, located at 235 W 23rd St, New York, N.Y. 10011. The first of its kind, this advanced educational Summit is absolutely free, yet selective; exclusive for eligible businesses. The Summit includes various speakers on various Integrated Marketing topics including the keynote speaker Ronn Torossian from 5WPR, the author of “For Immediate Release” and considered America’s top Public Relations expert.

Unlike Small Business Saturday, which aims to place small businesses in the spotlight for one Saturday a year, the Smart Marketer Summit works to strengthen small businesses by improving marketing and PR operations all year round. On December 15th, The Summit will be giving small businesses free high level access to necessary tools, knowledge, coaching and resources to ensure their long term success. The Summit is striving to introduce fail safe marketing systems and transform Small Business Owners into Smart Marketers.
